1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, provide a better browsing experience, and supply information to website owners. Cookies can be "persistent" (remaining on your device until deleted) or "session-based" (deleted when you close your browser).

2. How We Ask for Your Consent

When you first visit our site, a cookie banner appears with three choices: Accept all, Reject all, or Customise. By default, no analytics or marketing cookies are loaded until you choose. We use Google’s Consent Mode v2 framework to enforce this — meaning the tracking scripts technically load, but they do not set cookies or record any data until you grant consent.

You can change your mind at any time by clicking Cookie Preferences in the footer of any page.

3. Categories of Cookies and Trackers We Use

Strictly Necessary (always on)

These cookies are required for the site to work. They cannot be disabled. They include:

growteams-currency (localStorage, persistent) — remembers whether you want prices in £ or $
growteams_consent_v1 (localStorage, persistent) — records your cookie consent choice so we don’t re-prompt you
growteams_attribution (sessionStorage, this session only) — records the marketing source (e.g. UTM parameters, Google Click ID) of how you arrived, so that if you submit a form we can attribute the lead correctly

Analytics (only loaded if you accept)

These help us understand which pages are working and where people drop off. They are loaded by Google Tag Manager (container ID: GTM-WW8VK84X) which orchestrates all our tracking scripts.

Google Analytics 4 (Measurement ID: G-NYQEJCCBK4) — cookies _ga and _ga_*, set for up to 2 years. Records page views, button clicks, calculator completions, and form submissions. IP addresses are anonymised.
Microsoft Clarity (Project ID: wirwgj5ftl) — cookies _clck and _clsk, set for up to 1 year. Records anonymised session replays (mouse movements, clicks, scroll depth) so we can see how users interact with the site. Sensitive form fields are automatically masked. We use this to spot UX problems, not to identify individuals.

Marketing (only loaded if you opt in)

These would let us measure paid advertising and remarket to you on platforms like Google Ads or LinkedIn. We don’t currently run any marketing pixels — the category exists in our consent banner so that if we add them in future, you have advance control. If we do add them, this policy will be updated and your saved consent will not silently grant access to new categories.

4. Third Parties Who May Receive Your Data

Beyond cookies set in your browser, your interactions may result in data being sent to:

Google LLC — for Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager. Data may be transferred to servers in the United States. Google participates in the EU-US and UK-US Data Privacy Frameworks.
Microsoft Corporation — for Microsoft Clarity. Data may be transferred to servers in the United States under the same Data Privacy Frameworks.
Web3Forms (a third-party form processor) — receives the data you submit through our contact form and forwards it to our team via email.

We do not sell your personal data to anyone, and we do not use any of the above for advertising profiling.

5. How to Manage Cookies

The easiest way is to use the Cookie Preferences link in our footer. You can also manage cookies via your browser:

View which cookies are stored on your device and delete them individually
Block third-party cookies
Block cookies from specific websites
Block all cookies from being set
Delete all cookies when you close your browser

If you block or delete the strictly necessary cookies, some site features (e.g. currency choice, the consent banner not re-appearing) won’t work as intended.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, legislation, or our business practices. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. If we add new tracking categories (e.g. marketing pixels), your previously-saved consent will not silently extend to them — we’ll prompt you again.
